An oxbow can be described as a bow shaped bend in the river or the land
embraced by it. The Boyne River, one of Carmans landmarks, meanders peacefully
through town, crossing our streets time and again. In earlier days, the present location of The Oxbow
Inn was surrounded by a peaceful stretch of this river with only a
foot bridge to access it.
With the purchase and subsequent renovation of the property now known as The
Oxbow Inn, we have created a peaceful, relaxing place for people to unwind and
enjoy their stay in Carman. Our facility has now been totally upgraded and
features different options for different needs. Recently, two Premium Queen
rooms were added for the guest who wants a little more!
